In September we bought and installed a new sink and faucet. It took all day to install these things, mostly because the kids were around all day while we did it. I’m not going to lie to you guys, this faucet is the shiznits. It turns on when you touch it. Touch it anywhere, the water turns on. Imagine a fancy robot, a babbling brook in the height of summer, and an iPad rolled into a thing: that’s our faucet. The kids wanted to play with it over and over again for days.
You may have seen this video already. Like I said, it took all day to remove the old stuff and install the new stuff, so it’s not like we had tons of extra time, but I figured this was worth the 10-15 minutes to shoot before we trashed the old sink.
It took a few takes for us to get it right. Most of it was my being a diva about my performance.
Now more pictures:
There’s a trail east of Payson that leads up to a lil’ waterfall grotto.
We couldn’t get Josie to stand still for very long for a picture.
Here’s Gavin on his trike…
…But who’s that lurking in the background? (Hint: it’s the girl! A girl named Jos!)
Gavin took this picture:
Sometimes Josie will climb into her stroller and just sit there.
Because there aren’t enough pictures of me throwing my kids around.
We installed some new Ikea bookshelves in Gavin’s room. We like how it turned out. Ol’ Jos snuck into the photo.
I don’t remember what she did to hurt her nose and forehead (see above picture). Probably something clumsy. Poor sweet cute lil’ clumsy girl.
Future civilizations will find my photos and wonder why the man spent all of his days throwing his kids all over the place every chance he got.
Hangin’ out in the fridge is the coolest. (Just ask Cherie from Punky Brewster!) Don’t worry, I cropped out most of the freezer door with all the dirty toddler fridge fingerprints.
C’mon Jos, let Gavin have a turn.
That’s all for now!
